The Fort Lauderdale-based developer has the 8.2-acre site at the northeast corner of Northwest 159th Street and Northwest First Avenue under contract from Beacon Square Revocable Property Trust.

Kushner Launching First Miami Project: A $550M Apartment Complex

The Kushner Cos. is launching a major apartment project in Miami, Bisnow has learned, the first in Florida for the third-generation real estate business. Courtesy of Dorsky + Yue International Rendering of 2000 Biscayne Blvd., an upcoming project in Miami from Kushner Cos. Kushner Cos., the business now led by the brain trust of Charles Kushner, Nicole Kushner Meyer and Laurent Morali, is planning on breaking ground later this year on an 1,100-unit apartment project in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood, sources familiar with the deal told Bisnow.

An 18.7 Acre- 250,000 SF Commercial Development designed to replace a Sears Department Store at the regional Boca Town Center Mall in South Florida. The project is intended to present a “Modern Mediterranean” architectural design and provide an inviting “Village” feel with a strong pedestrian orientation. The program incorporates a variety of well-known retailers and restaurants with a wide range of opportunities for shopping, entertainment, and dining.

The two new Associates have over twenty years of experience in design and management of large scale complex projects; their commitment in service and dedication in delivering quality work has helped excel the firm and retain its expanding national clientele.
Sema, a LEED AP, first joined the firm in 2006 and has since acted as Project Manager on projects including Dreamland and Shahdag Resort in Azerbaijan, Silverspot at Coconut Creek, Avanti in Downtown St. Petersburg, and New River in Fort Lauderdale.
Jess, a Registered Architect in Colorado and Tennessee, joined the firm in 2014. She has been a Project Manager on numerous lowrise and highrise multifamily projects including Fairfield at Pompano Beach, 2000 Biscayne in Miami, the Ora and 4 West Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Jess is particularly instrumental in establishing the firm’s Revit production protocol.

Giant Riverparc Square towers approved for downtown Fort Lauderdale

“One of the largest downtown developments of the recent building boom won approval Tuesday night, clearing the city of Fort Lauderdale without a City Commission vote.
Riverparc Square will take up an entire city block south of the river downtown, with 790 apartments or condos, 297 hotel rooms, nearly 300,000 square feet of office space and about 45,000 square feet of retail.”
