A legendary landmark, Westfield’s Old Orchard is one of the first open-air mixed-use developments with national recognition in the history of retail development. The proposed renovation includes the addition of 1.2 million sf of leasable space for a total of 3 million sf. The design concept contemplates the integration of retail, entertainment, office, and residential uses in such a way that the essence of the beautiful open areas and plazas are not only preserved, but enhanced with new opportunities for community interaction and human activity.
